Yes, Renee we are back home. The tour was so well organised, we are most appreciative. All the arrangements were truly seamless. We never had to worry about tickets. The driver was always punctual and reliable. We always felt we were in safe hands. Our guides were all extremely professional and knowledgeable. Joe was very personable and a good sport with the kids. He even went to the trouble of printing a souvenir photo of us at Stone Forest! Danny was super passionate about local Tibetan culture and this made the tour more enjoyable. At times I felt there was a little too much information for us, but the kids were fully engaged so it was worthwhile. There was just the right amount of time spent travelling each day. We covered a lot but not too much. All the places we visited were interesting and we learnt a lot. There was just the right amount of walking for us. It was not too rushed.

Molto bravi tutti, un piccola preferenza però per la nostra guida, Doyle, nella zona Kumming, foresta di pietra e terrazze di campi di riso, con il quale abbiamo avuto una particolare sintonia. We choose the 22 days Tour and our travel in Yunnan was a wonderful travel, with a perfect organisation, exellent guides and what to say about our drivers, excellent professionals and person. No enough words to define this region. We enjoyed people, minority ethnic groups, culture, landscapes, everything! A true dream for all of us. Our Yunnan hiking trip was perfectly organized. We had a private tour with 15 adults and I am happy with the service. We had amazing guide James who cares for all her clients and really do great job to give tourist great experience. We got amazing pics and wonderful memories.Our driver Mr.Li all the time made us feel comfortable, he is really professional and good in this what he is doing. Travel around Yunnan, represented by Renne, proposed a 1st draft of the trip that we, then, amended. The program was fine tuned together with Renee. She finally assigned a driver and different guides, arranged train tickets when necessary and booked the hotels we chose. We paid 70% in advance and the balance during the trip, which seems totally fair. We visited Shangri-la, Lijiang, Shaxi, Dali, Kunming. One week is short but we got a great overview of Yunnan. The selection of restaurants is at 90% spot on, the guides were super competent and friendly. Hiking, visits of Temples, cities old towns, grottos, monasteries... all that was fantastic! Yunnan has an astonishing nature, marvellous landscapes, and overwhelming cultural elements of the so called minorities (Tibetan, Bai, Nahki,...). Don't miss it. I was there with my 66-year-old mother and a 5-year-old baby. Everything was nicely organised. Tour guides were informative, helpful, sweet and enthusiast. They even went out of the way to organise an extra accommodation for us before our train journey from Lijiang back to Kunming free of charge. I couldn't ask for better service. Our trip to Yunnan was very successful and certainly met our expectations. The contact with the agency in China and especially with agent Renne was perfect ,,, the trip as a whole and choosing the sites of the trip was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Everywhere we arrived a guide and driver were waiting for us and we did not stop at all. The selection of instructors was excellent and their level of instruction in English was perfect. From the beginning stages of planning our trip to China with this travel agency (and specifically our travel planner) we knew we were going enjoy this trip of a lifetime. All we needed to do was provide our budget and "wish list" and he worked his considerable magic from there! We ultimately visited Beijing, Luoyang , Xi’an, Lijiang, Kunming , Gulin and Shanghai , enjoying everything from a haunted city tour of Venice at night, a private cooking class in Yangshuo. And, as if that wasn't enough, the tour guides, hotel staff, private driver; they all deserve to be recognized for their individual love and knowledge of their city, warmth, good nature and professionalism. Every site we visited and tour we attended was so very well planned and so very worth the time. We were made to feel as if our agent planned our trip more as if he were doing so for family than clients. ..I can't imagine a better experience!
