Feilai Temple
The Feilai temple is a excellent place to enjoy the spectacular view of Meili mountain, for Meili’s 13 peaks and glaciers. It is located right ahead of Snow mountain and at about 8km to Deqin.
At the place over 100m away from Feilaisi Temple , you can see the full view of Meili Snow mountain, the winding Meili summits are overhead, and the magnificent Lancang River Gorge is under your feet, with elevation difference of 4700m. Once in a while, Hada cloud belt will wind around the mountains. This is regarded as the symbol of luck. There are different views of scared Meili scenery in four seasons through out the year, or even within one day. Here also has the Buddhist pagoda built in memory of the Tenth Banchan visiting Deqin and “Monument for dead Sino-Japanese mountain climbers at Meli Snow mountain.
