Yunnan Nationalities Village is located in southwest shore of Dianchi Lake with an area of 89 hectares. There are totally 25 independents copy buildings of villages about the different ethnic groups in Yunnan were constructed in it. It was be called as a window to know about the traditions & cultural about the numerous ethnic groups such as Bai, Dai, Yi , Tibetan, Zhuang, Miao and so on. Each village well displays its original villages. Showing the variety of buildings, lifestyle and religious belief in its region. In the theme park, visitors can enjoy not only diverse
architecture arts, clothing, remarkable custom, also shows of songs and dance. Trying the fantastic food or purchasing some souvenirs also provide a memorable experience. Some traditional festivals of these nationalities are held here including the Splashing Water Festival of Dai people and Sanyuejie Festival of the Bai people in the middle of every April, the Torch Festival of Yi People about the end of July and so on.
