Twin Dragon Bridge


Twin Dragon Bridge ( it crosses over the Tachong River which is about 5km west of Jianshui. This stone bridge is well combination of science and art, and endowed as the first in Yunnan in terms of size and artistic value. The bridge had only three arches on the north end when it was first building in the Emperor Qianlong regin of Qing Dynasty. Later on , due to the Tachong River changed its course, fourteen new bridge arches were added to the original ones, then it become a bridge with seventeen-Arch. It is a masterpiece among ancient bridges in China . The Twin Dragon Bridge is among the 10 oldest in China and features 17 arches.)
