Nangunhe Nature Reserve is located in the northwest of Cangyuan County with an area of about 600 hectares. Because of the tropical rain forest, a variety of broad-leaved plants grow rapidly, forming a balanced ecological community, for all kinds of animals to provide the ideal habitat. Rare animals are: leopard, Asian elephant, Bengal tiger, golden monkey, gibbon, python, lizard, etc., rare birds are: green peacock, hornbill,, pheasant and so on. Cangyuan Autonomous County area with the same as the Hubei Shennongjia had "Savage" legend, although no one can confirm the "savage" exists, but here is indeed a mysterious land.
