Overnight at Lijiang
Firstly drive to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, visit the Spruce Meadow (3450m) section has rich vegetation coverage, featuring a distinct and complete alpine vertical ecosystem from Subtropical Zone to Frigid Zone. We take a chairlift up and down the mountain, where the Yi and Zang Minority Ethnic Tribes live. Continue to enjoy the outdoor show " Impress Lijiang" directly by Mr. Zhangyimou.
Afterward, visit famous Baisha Frescoes. (The greatest feature of the frescos is the syncretism. Figures of Buddism, Taoism and Lamaism are painted together, which is peculiar in the world) Finally stroll in Shuhe Old Town (It is an ancient trade post for tea caravans between China and the Red Sea, is set to regain its past prosperity with the launch of a new protection program. This town is the former city center of LiJiang and has a history of more than 1000 years.).
Overnight at Lijiang
Early in the morning, dive 4-5 hrs on the spectacle mountain road to visit the mysterious Lugu Lake. On the way, enjoy the beautiful view among the huge mountains and rivers.
Upon arrival, you will take the canoes to visit Liwubi Island in Lugu Lake. Pay a visit to Mosuo Local Family to learn about their local life.
In the evening, take part in Mosuo Bonfire Party with ethnic dance and singing performance.You will dance and sing with Mosuo boys and girls around a big bonfire in the outdoors courtyard.
In the morning, drive back to Lijiang. Stop at Yongning which is an important town of the Ancient Tea-Horse Trade Caravan from Yunnan to Tibet. visit the Zhamei Lamaist Monastery which is the biggest lamasery in Moso area Yongning Town. Tibetan people call Yongning as "taluo", meaning "the way to heaven". The place the Zhamei Lamasery lies in is called "Zhameige", which means "no war". The coincidence of these two names make the Lamasery even famous in Tibet.
Arrive at Lijiang in the later afternoon.
Overnight at Lijiang
Morning departure and drive 2.5hrs to Qiaotou Town (only Chinese driver accompany with this transfer). Meeting with your guide from Zhongdian after arrival, star the tour of Tiger Leaping Gorge (Shangri-La section) the deepest gorge in the world. With 34 rapids of the Yangtze River, it is called the Jinsha in this area because you can find gold in the river.
Afterward, you will further the driving Shangri-La( 2hrs). It is located in the north -west part of Yunnan. It is the Tibetan region of Yunnnan with an average altitude is more than 3,000 meters (about 9,843 feet).
Then Visit Dukezong Tibetan Old Town , Dukezong comes from Tibetan language which means the moonlight city, on the summit of the Guishan Hill in the old town, you will see the largest Pray Wheel in the world. You can try to push the huge pray wheel around with local people together to show your blessing to your family , friends
Overnight at Shangri-La
In the morning, firstly go to visit Pudacuo National Park ( the park is largest forest park in China. It including Shudu Lake and Bita Lake lakes of there are known for their clear water, and the peaceful environment of the area around here).
Afterward, you will clime up to visit Songzanlin Monastery or 'Little Potala' as it is affectionately known, is a spiritual place that invites you to discover the mystery and traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.
Then visit a local Tibetan Family to charting with the local people to know about their local life and at try to drink a cup of Yak Butter Tea.
Overnight at Shangri-La
After the breakfast, you will transfer to Shangri-La airport for your departure flight.
